Well, We Are In Nashville

Music Fog Truck The Music Fog rig rode through the night to Nashville, but not without stops along the way. With a diesel capacity of 38 gallons, only one stop was made for fuel.  All the others were “fluff” stops:

--Stop to play lottery scratch-off tickets in every state.  (We won 2 free tickets and $5.00).  Total investment - $145.00.

Beans Sunglasses --Stop for new girlie sunglasses for Beans after having the original pair sucked off his head in a mindless high speed videographer accident.

Chicken Truck --Stop to see a chicken truck driver stop his truck to go in and order a chicken sandwich. (It’s the equivalent of watching a Harley rider stop to eat a carburetor) True story.

Mini Graceland --Stop to visit “Mini Graceland” in Roanoke VA. It is the tragic brainchild of the Epperly family. (video to come shortly).

--Stop for steak tartar & foie gras at The Horizon Bar & Grill.  Don’t ask.

--Stop for “Gentleman’s Hospitality” at a place called The Mouse’s Ear.

--Stop for “spoon time” @ $35.00 a night somewhere east of Nashville at The Royal Inn (5 hours of shut eye in a smoking room).

--Stop for Waffle House “groceries."

Now, as we prepare for 4 solid days of filming and tomfoolery at the Americana Music Festival and Conference, the only chores left to accomplish are meeting the tour bus, pulling Jessie out of the Vortex, and picking up the now-infamous Music Fog gopher at the airport later this evening. Once Sheila is in the pocket, the games can officially begin.

Aaron has mentioned something about “drowning a muskrat in the toilet” later today so we’ll try to decipher his language and prepare a full report. Muskrat

With Love,

Music Fog
