Music Fog "Race To Philly"
I'm proud to be the FNG with Music Fog, so hopefully my picks will seem both "fresh" and "incredibly naive."
My favorites are the epic trip to Philly video and the resulting "Those Darlins" videos. The "Race to Philly" video proves that the Music Fog team are the kind of folks for whom life is one long series of adventures. Most people would come back from a road trip to Philly with a few complaints about traffic or gas prices, Music Fog comes back with a DIY "CannonBall Run."
And to prove the race was not in vain, this weekend safari yields Those Darlins, "The Whole Damn Thing". Psychedelic visuals, swirling guitars and unforgettable sing-along-lyrics. "I got drunk and I ate a chicken..." Need I say more?
I'm also partial to Scott Miller's "People Who Rule" - a gentle, savage lullaby for our time. Plus, it has a couple kazoo solos.
