Jim McBean has been with Music Fog from the beginning. He is part of the original team that thought the whole adventure would be easy. Leading to the joke: “How hard could it be?”

When the Fog crew is on the road, McBean takes the wheel for the overnight drive. Somehow the crew can sleep while “The Velvet Fog” pushes on through the night - spotting deer and other wild beasts standing roadside while his contact lenses gently fog over.

His 2am muse is to search for “The Word of Got" on the AM radio band. When he finds it, the crew never complains.  And the truck is allowed 10MPH over the speed limit.

McBean has an extensive media background. The majority of it hosting morning radio slots in cities like Miami & Detroit. He was also part of the original staff that helped launch XM Satellite Radio.

He has no friends and likes to keep it that way. But he does have a pretty good pizza dough recipe.
