Chris is a partner at Music Fog, and can usually be found lighting, shooting, and editing. He's also been responsible for delaying more than a few Fog recording sessions while he adjusts the lights "just one more time."
Chris is yet another "ex-XM'er," having worked with the company from its inception, as a consulting producer, and later as a Vice President of Creative Services. As the "video guy" at a radio company, he worked on everything from multi-camera programs, promos for marketing and web use, as well as consumer advertising.
He supervised the video production for Then Again Live! and Artist Confidential, XM's original series, featuring music and interviews with artists like Paul McCartney, Robert Plant, Willie Nelson, and Faith Hill. Walsh also handled video production of the pilot and first season of Unmasked, a comedy series featuring candid discussions with George Carlin, Carlos Mencia, Bob Saget, and many more. His advertising work at XM includes the original "Falling Stars" campaign created by TBWA/Chiat/Day, the "Are You ON" campaign from Lowe NY, and a wide range of advertising produced in-house.
Prior to XM, he worked for Request Television and MTV Networks, and as an independent producer for movie studios and cable networks, including Warner Bros., Paramount, Universal, Fox, Nickelodeon, and In Demand. He also produced a number of PSA's for Cable Positive, the cable industry's organization dedicated to fighting HIV/AIDS.
Chris got his start in film and video as an intern at Warner Bros. Animation in Burbank. He continued at Warner Bros. NY, as a production executive, where he established a full-service animation studio, which produced critically acclaimed shorts "Blooper Bunny" and "Invasion of the Bunny Snatchers," among other work.
