...I need to write down this song! The Americana Music Association has a very cool online auction benefit running that features handwritten song lyrics up for bid. This afternoon is your last chance to take home any one of these amazing pieces of music history. A very cool recent addition is the handwritten lyrics to "Firewater" from Butch Hancock, written on the back side of a torn up Stolichnaya Vodka box! Others are on hotel letterhead, notebook paper, or anything handy. Some are written very neatly, and others include crossed out revisions---they're all as unique as the artists that have donated them to this AMA benefit.
