When Music Fog recorded Bonnie it was at a small Italian joint in VA. It was the first time this establishment ever had an artist perform in house. It was tight! And it was a very memorable night. Bonnie is at her best playing to (and with) the crowd. In this song, Bonnie explained that it is based on a true story about a guy who gave her some money and advice when she needed it most. She's been trying to pay him back ever since. Hence, the song.
