I have known Blake Olson seemingly forever, having first met him during his tenure with Cory Morrow. We have always had a MAS going on; I love the joy that surrounds him, not to mention the loyalty, smarts, and ability to keep on the path…ya know, it is eyes on the prize.
Blake is now with Celebrity Coaches, and they do beautiful work. And so on Wednesday we went to White House, TN to check out Integrity Interior's facility and pick up a tour bus for production during the Americana Music Association Festival and Conference. Integrity is a trip, as it is the classic "If you can dream it, you can do it" place. Really, buses are perfect for us; as we live and work on them when on location.
We got to Nashville by evening, and the Men-Elf's of Music Fog started breaking out the road cases, creating an instant studio in an hour or so. A big thanks to old friend Ron Brice at 3rd and Lindsley for paving the way for us to park near his club. But really, the recording sessions in Nashville this past week wouldn’t have happened had it not been for our very good friend and compatriot Blake Olson. He delivered possibly the most beautiful coach bus ever assembled. This sucker was decked out – airlock doors, tile finished baths (2) inlaid with hardwood tiles, TV in the shower, bump-out salon & master bedroom plus a Jagermeister machine! When sighted by artists, the usual response was “WTF?”. We 'Foggers' would simply offer up the liquid libation inside, and proceed to lay cable at their feet and stick our cameras in their faces. And it was all good.
Blake, you are an amazing man and a very good friend of Music Fog. You have had so much to do with helping launch this crazy venture – we just can’t thank you enough.
