“...We’d like to help you make your trip." --Country Joe McDonald Friday night Music Fog was out in force at the Ram’s Head Live in Baltimore’s trendy Inner Harbor to tape The Carolina Chocolate Drops and Donna The Buffalo. A GREAT evening of music, ending with hugs and kisses from the crew as I will connect with the guys somewhere on the road from here on out. Yes, Music Fog will be continuing to bring you stuff from DC and environs, as well as expanding our horizons in Texas. It has been a whirlwind of goodbyes, last times, final moments, as I sit on the floor in my now empty house. Just a couple of sofa cushions, and of course the flat screen is still set up. Listening to tunes on the iPod, and packing up the last few boxes. This whole thing is somewhat like having a baby….you get to feeling bloated, like you can’t stand it for one more second. And the pain comes. But then there is new life. One just has to get to where it’s in the rearview mirror. I am so thankful for the folks who were sent to me to make this happen. My real estate agent Mike Moran at Remax in Olney, who is totally ‘can do.’ And he assembled an amazing crew: my contractor Dusty Gloeckler and his great guys Marty and Carl, Diana Glenn the organizer, Nick Aggelis, the painter, Sherwood the landscaper. Harrell Lee flew up at Lew Curatolo’s request, and has been coordinating the packing, loading, and stacking, and we are going to caravan to Texas. Be in Austin by the end of the week, across Tennessee and south through Mississippi. There will be food, music and adventure. A new start awaits... -Jessie Scott
