Okay...it's late and I've had a few. And I've been trolling YouTube. Which brings me to my point: the 15-second video below has over 8,000 views. It's a crappy video of a monkey playing the cymbals. It's really, really bad. Yet, this monkey has accumulated more views than any artist we have featured so far on the Music Fog YouTube channel.
Why am I bringing this up? It's not that I'm suggesting that our artists can't compete with a battery-powered monkey. And it's not that I'm trying to scam you into watching more of our videos (we don't make any money from that, nor will we ever, as we refuse to place ads on our vids). We just love to share great artists with the world. And it's because the likes of James McMurtry, Stoney LaRue, and Eilen Jewell (among others) can top this garbage.
Put the word out folks. Check out our YouTube channel, subscribe, and tell your friends. Let's support our artists and take down this stupid monkey.
