Or it seemed like that! Last night at the Iota in Arlington,VA, Eric Brace and Last Train Home with Peter Cooper took the stage for a joyous and triumphant evening of music. Eric told me afterwards that most of the players only had played sets before with some of the others. And by the way they were all A-Listers, including Pete Finney on magnificent pedal steel, soulful Jen Gunderman on accordion and keys, and the ever effervescent Kevin Cordt on trumpet. Our own Music Fogger Ben was having a hard time getting the players in back on camera as the stage was so crowded. After a short intermission, they added one more to their ranks, and brought John Wesley Harding to the stage for this great take of Top of the Bottom.
