Feb. 20, 2009 - The Handlebar - Greenville, SC

Fred Eaglesmith and crew (Matt, Kori and Luke) rolled into the Handlebar in Greenville SC on Friday night. As always, the fans were greeted by the lovely Kori Heppner at Fred's souvenir table. The show was opened by no other than Mic Harrison. Mic treated Greenville to many songs from his recent album The Right Side of the Grass including "Satan Lives in Arkansas," "Crazy Eyes" and "I Get the Booze," among many others.

Fred
This would be tough act for anyone to follow, however Fred was up to the task. Fred  played  from his current album Tinderbox along with many timeless favorites including "Time to Get a Gun," and "Mrs. Hank Williams and I Like Trains." Fred truly entertained with his witty monologues that had the crowd laughing and thinking at the same time. As always Fred, Kori, Matt and Luke hung around for autographs, photos and conversation until the last fan had left.
