I love this. Sarah Jarosz is booked to play The Lizard Lounge Wednesday (November 18th) in Cambridge, MA. There just isn't a better name than Lizard Lounge!
Sarah joined Music Fog on the bus in Nashville during the Americana Conference. She is a prodigal guitarist, mandolin and banjo picker. And she has some pretty powerful friends behind her...Grisman and Skaggs are just a couple to be named. Garrison Keillor is also a big supporter of hers, and has featured her talents on his own Prairie Home Companion.
This is an artist to watch. Signed to Sugar Hill Records in the summer of 2008, her voice has been compared to that of Patty Griffin and she is produced by the legendary Gary Paczosa, who is no slouch himself.
I am not going to say "You go Gir..." But you have to say something just because of her accomplishments in a very short period of time.
