Chip Taylor is nothing if not prolific these days. He told me on the phone today that he is treating his recordings as if they were paintings. This is such a productive writing period for him, that he just wants to get them OUT, and then move on to the next. On October 27th, Yonkers, NYarrives. It is a look at his childhood, and his developing love of music, horses, girls, and family, foretelling the arc of Chip's life and loves. We were so lucky to have Chip and company at the end of a very long day! They were on stage at 3rd and Lindsley at 11 pm, and came over after their set was done.
