The Jessie Scott Vortex is always an interesting place to be. The most recent victim was Canadian artist Catherine MacLellan. 

You'd think that when Jessie calls you and says a Canadian artist is meeting us at a firehouse in Virginia that George Washington founded you might raise your eyebrows slightly. I have to say, this kind of surreal occurrence has become our everyday reality. 

That said, here's a video of Catherine performing the first song off of her new album called "Water in the Ground." I've never met a woman who could make a song about potatos interesting, until now...
