It’s Saturday morning; Folk Alliance 2009, Memphis. After a quick Celebrity Coach shower (while watching CNN), I have made an attempt to quickly clean up the bus and get ready for the day’s taping. Garbage down the chute, Lone Star cans disposed off, cables organized.

Then there’s Jessie’s suite in the back. It’s a disgrace!  Bed left unmade. Clothing hanging from anything that protrudes from the wall. CDs and personal effects piled high atop a dresser. The glare of disco lights on the ceiling. She’s even got The World Poker Tour playing on the flat screen. There’s a vibe in that room that might make the Rev. Al Green nervous. Our Jessie is living the dream…

Ben and Beans’ bunk: crispy clean...sheets so tight you can bounce a bowling ball off them.

Tomorrow might just call for some churchin’…
