With the official Christmas Holiday only four days away, we thought it fitting to place some official holiday-like photos of the Music Fog staff on the web site. All of these pictures were shot at The Mansion on O Street in Washington DC. It is such a festive place and we couldn't pass up the opportunity to click away with the overdose of Christmas all around us.
Here is Jessie visiting with a plastic Santa. We don't remember what is draped over her head because we were all drinking at the time. But we can assure you that the smile on her face is genuine. What Jessie asked Santa for remains confidential. And, being that Santa was...well...plastic, it really doesn't matter anyway. Just don't let Jessie know that.
Aaron by the Christmas tree. Yeah, he's a very "holiday guy." Never mind the puzzled look on his face, it's just Aaron wondering about the miracle of Christmas. It puzzles him on so many levels. There's the whole baby Jesus thing...and then there is that bright star in the sky that he's supposed to find. When he finds it, he says he will follow it. But he just doesn't want a baby waiting for him at the other end. That's fair enough.
Chris didn't want his picture taken by the tree, or anything else like that. That's because Chris is a lighting guy. And lighting guys don't like lights behind them. They sadly go though life living behind the scenes...behind the bright lights to stardom. Never thanked for their efforts, they reward themselves in mass with very private non-secular annual get-together somewhere near the Mexican border. We are told that a large number of chickens are involved.
Beans also had his picture taken by the same Christmas tree that Aaron stood next to only moments before. Plus, he learnedthat The Mansion on O also had a special room set aside for smokers, and just wanted to get away from the camera to smoke. Never mind him, he does care. But he also gets irritable if things are smelling just a little too fresh.
We thought throwing up pictures sure kicks the crap out of one of those long end-of-the-year holiday letters that seem to show up in the Christmas card envelopes. Besides, if you've been reading this site you already know what we've been up to all year.
