Sunday, April 18, 2010 Truth & Salvage Co. "Call Back"
Let's speak to the power of music to uplift spirits. Let's salute the great American melting pot of flavors. Let's celebrate harmony and hooks. I just got the Truth & Salvage Co. CD in the mail a couple of days ago, and Hello!!! Hallelujah!!! They make a joyous noise! The self-titled CD makes its way to the street on May 25th, but if you are in the right place, you can see them in advance of that as they embark on their summer tour, hitting 43 stops along the way including Stage Coach, Bonnaroo, Wakarusa, Beale Street Music Festival, and High Sierra Music Festival. Also, there are dates with The Avetts, and with The Black Crowes, as Chris Robinson signed them to his label and produced this debut album.
T&SCo grew out of the revered Hotel Café scene in LA, with the six band members being drawn there from points Midwest and Southeast. This music draws on the sweet southern rock tradition, as it firmly anchors in Americana...for those who still question what Americana music is, it is THIS! Catch 'em if you can, and check out this video either way. "Call Back" is the lead track from the forthcoming album.

I got a chance to see these guys when they opened up for the Black Crowes. My wife and I fell in love with their music and can't wait for more.
Okay video, great music. I really enjoy their sound and looking forward to the album's release in May!
With the economy such as it is....they're some things that are essential and some things you can do without....Truth and Salvage Co. is a must see and the CD worth every penny!!
Saw Truth & Salvage open for the Black Crowes was so much fun we went to see them at Hotel Bar in LA... If you get the chance go & see them (if you can't catch a show get the CD). They are a rockin' fun band!!!!
