Alright, you know we still have tons of video from the Folk Alliance in Memphis to put up on the Music Fog site...and then we will have tons of video to put up when we head to Threadgill's in March. And even though each road trip is a Herculean effort to cram as much as we can when we do a shoot, we still can't possibly be everywhere doing everything all the time! I feel like we have barely scratched the surface of the rich tapestry of GREAT music that is for the most part under the radar.

Do you know about these guys? Out of El Paso, Texas comes The Morakestra with their latest Witness To Connection. The music has some tasty country flavored guitars woven into it, but also has a dreaminess to the vocals that are very evocative of the 90's to my ear. And then there is the way cool video for the song "Tell You Something,” directed by Tao Ruspoli (director of Fix) and featuring Megalyn Echikunwoke (CSI Miami). Interesting images. So this Sunday, a palate cleanser, if you will...take a frosty spoonful and swirl it around!
