Oh man. The sky was blue today, we had beautiful driving weather, and when we got off the Shiner/Celebrity Coaches bus, it was to the sweet crisp crunch underfoot of white snow. Then we got to Steamboat (it is so good to be back...this is my seventh year at MusicFest!) and went to the artist check-in party.

So many folks to hug and kiss on! Including the Dickson Productions folks, to whom we offer sincere appreciation for allowing us to be part of this amazing family. Saw most of the Band of Heathens, Jason Eady, Dustin and Kevin Welch, Walt Wilkins, Jason Boland, Jeremy Plato, Kevin Fowler, Cory Morrow, The Braun Brothers, Bonnie Bishop, Hayes Carll, Brandon Jenkins, Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers, Roger Creager, and Eric Middleton from the Midnight River Choir, and of course, we invited them all to come before the Music Fog cameras this week.

SO happy to be here! Bring on the Champagne Powder and the Magical Music!  It was a long journey to get here, but well worth it.  Here's the last leg of our trip, we call it..."Forty-Two."
