Thirteen Bands recorded at the Celebrity Coach - Music Fog bus yesterday. That’s a record for this “start-up” venture! So many inventive decisions had to be made on the fly here at the Americana Music Festival & Conference. How do you record a clip board from an office supply store played with a pair of brushes?
That aluminum stand-up bass that walked in the door at 1am asked for a beer and a smoke before Aaron could record it. Didn’t phase Aaron. He wrestled the bass to the floor – threw a mic at it, and recorded what ever sound it made. Thats when we heard the now infamous cry of the audio guy…”if you see a F hole, mic it”.
Seems innocent enough. But we are worried about Aaron. He’s the one that talked us all into taking 3:30am showers at a truck stop last night! Really.
