Having had the magical experience of seeing Walt play the KNBT Americana Jam in New Braunfels, TX this past Sunday, I was once again struck by just how good a songwriter he is. Evocative lyrics that take you on a journey...speaking of this, he is readying a moving new album, not sure when it will be out! But anyway, back to Walt's lyrics. Seeing him perform "Trains I Missed" is homage to the random things that happen to us all, that shape our lives, that make us the people we are. What a song.
