Report Card For Sheila

Teacher Apple As you may already know, the Music Fog crew scored a free "Gopher" for our coverage of SXSW 2009. Flying all the way in from Idaho, Sheila was immediately thrown into the snake pit and was left to fend for herself. This is her official "report card." A formal notorized document will be mailed to her parents on company letterhead.

Re: Report card for student #001, "Sheila Francis"

English: A
Comments: Sheila demonstrated great communication skills, such as her ability to use proper punctuation and spell the word "ya'll" correctly. She even spelled 50% of her Twitter updates properly...a new world-wide Twitter record!

Math: A
Comments: We've never actually left an event with every waiver signed by every artist! Kudos!

Phys Ed: B-
Comments: Sheila is clearly physically fit, yet never even offered to lug the 90-pound road case back to the hotel room at the end of the night. She made all of the "big strong men" carry it instead.

Home Economics: C+
Comments: Sheila is a fast culinary study, but her instructors remain vexed at her fascination with "fry sauce."

Social Studies: A+
Comments: The fact that Sheila was able to navigate her way from Idaho to Austin, TX--by herself--displays exemplary geography skills!

Extracurricular Activities: A
Comments: Never once did young Sheila embarrass our organization in public during SXSW (that would be very hard to do). She even helped score an illegal ride for us by stuffing Jessie Scott onto the floor of an Austin cab!

Teacher Comments:

Sheila displays wonderful verbal and written communication skills and generally gets along well with other students. Her ability to adapt and thrive in adverse conditions is a testament to her solid upbringing. That said, Sheila can improve in several areas. The first being: she has a terrible habit of playing with her food at the lunch table (likes to mix mayonnaise and ketchup for no apparent reason). We recommend that she retake "Home Economics" during summer school.

Overall GPA: 3.8
