Sheila Francis

Sheila became a videographer for Music Fog after graduating from her first role as production assistant (otherwise known as “the gopher”). Basically, she works by the Music Fog mantra, “how hard can it be?” and does whatever needs to be done, whether it be chopping jalapeños to feed the crew or becoming an amateur stand-in for lighting tweaks.

She first met members of Music Fog at the MusicFest 2009 after a nonsensical tweet was sent out for the first ever Gondola Concert Series™ ride with Paula Nelson and George Devore performing. Bravely, Sheila showed up, found the “two guys with cameras” and has been a part of the revolution ever since. She worked with as a crew member during Music Fog's first SXSW showcase in Austin and has regularly been a part of the crew for various on location shoots and events.

Sheila, originally from Idaho by way of the Chicago suburbs, has always had an appreciation for music. Classically trained in violin and viola, she was encouraged by friends to listen to Texas and Red Dirt music. This eventually led to a lifestyle change, something beyond what Idaho had to offer. A few colleges later and finally a degree in Accounting from Boise State University, she packed up her life and is currently living the dream in Texas.
