Chris Knight "North Dakota"

This is the kind of guy who you would probably ask to open the top of that pickle jar that you can't twist off. Oh, he'd open it just fine. But then you might get "that look" as he sets it back down on the counter. You would never be able to claim that you helped him open it. That would be bad.

Chris Knight has a way of convincing you that it might be a good idea to just sit down and listen. I know that's the way we felt when he came to perform at the Music Fog condo in Steamboat. Once he started to play, you found yourself listening to the words - closely. Every song was a story. And this story left you wondering.

Very powerful stuff. Here is "North Dakota," featuring Chris Clark on mandolin.

I first heard Chris about 2 years ago, been a fan ever since. My common sense asks me why is this guy not the super star that his talent would allow him to be. My selfishness is glad he's not because once he becomes a household name then the public will play his music to death. I hope that makes sense. I wish nothing but the best for this multitalented guy. When you turn the lights down, kick back in your recliner, close your eyes and listen to a Chris Knight cd it's like watching a series of mini movies. After listening to "North Dakota" it made me want to give the therostat a twist & turn up the heat. THANKS Chris for this and so many others that I have on cd, on my computer and in my MP3 player. I'll be waiting for your next release.
